Description : Pop/Rock
Brief History : Scarlet Theory was conceived in San Francisco in it's earliest infancy some four years ago. They have been digging their nails in and climbing their way to a respectable position in Northern California. The work and commitment has paid off with a number of awards, including BAM Magazine's Best Unsigned Band and culminating with a live performance at a sold out Warfield Theater in San Francisco. The Scarlet Theory musical experience draws from their rock upbringing in the '70's and 80's and converts into modern erratic, hook filled pop, built by smart and introspective song writing, supported by sweet guitar riffs and addictive melodies. The current lineup has been together for nearly three years now and has really hardened in the latter two years. A traditional four piece consists of Dave Vogeler, providing lead vocals and guitar work, Eirik O'Neal delivering the guitar riffs and reluctant background vocals, and the low end supporting the whole experience is discharged by Wise on bass and George Lambert on Drums, both deliver a variety of back up vocals. The Scarlet Theory discography consists of two efforts thus far and both have been released on their own record company, Capsize Records. In May of 1995 they released the seven song EP 'ru*barb'. This piece has driven the band to there current status here at the eve of 1996. All the songs on the record have reached the radio airwaves, but the "hits" have proven to been 'Change of Heart' and 'Stuckee'; 'Familiar Forces' also has had strong support too! The piece has been picked up by Café Records from Jacksonville, Oregon for what has been a successful regional radio campaign and distribution. The band will continue to support Café Records on this piece through the middle of 1997. In late March of 1997, Scarlet Theory has released on Capsize Records, their debut full length album entitled 'Circus-Sized Peanuts' in the bay area only. This seventeen track effort represents the bands musical maturity with a variety of tunes that are consistent with their initial effort, and also includes gracious pop rock and some pensive pleasing melodies. The band is actively looking for a label that not only will provide radio and distribution, but put them on the road! Their live show has been reported to be a "consistently not to be missed event' and has to date been displayed throughout northern California and western Nevada. Shortly they will venture to the all important southern California region, and also Oregon and Washington!

Description : heavy aggressive rock Brief History : I am Jimmy. A lot of you nice folks out there may know me as the guitarist for SMACK, but I've also held down some other intersting jobs, and certainly better paying ones. I have been playing geetar since just before I started blowing up cars in my teenage years. Kiss is what sparked my interest in music, and Randy Rhoads is who influenced me to learn more about music in general. I have learned an immense amount from studying the two Ozzy albums Randy played on, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman. Progressing on, I found a couple of cats to jam with, and started my first band,,,the rest is... blah blah blah........ KIB. I was introduced to music at a very young age. Piano lessons since I was 5 years old, to playing trombone in the crappy school band. I then decided, "THIS SUCKS", and quit. In 1984, my dad (who acted as an undercover officer) confiscated tickets from a scalper and took me to see a Van Halen show. (DLR years). I was hooked. Excited about what I saw, me and some of my padnas from Fairwood, decided to form a band a month later. I played a junky blue keyboard and hated every minute of it. (Twenty minutes to be exact.) At age 15, my dad made the biggest mistake yet, he bought me a bass for Christmas. So, I grabbed my bass and my stereo (my amp at the time), and went looking for a band. The next few years are a blur. I've played in some terrible bands and some alright bands, but I have always tried to have a good time no matter the situation. Brief History : The Spit Brothers began in late 1996 for a one time gig, but then decided to continue what they started. They have released one independant album, "Greatest Hits", and are still getting great reactions from listeners. They are currently in the studio wrapping up recording of their second independant release, "Nutpunch For Grandpa!!!" "Nutpunch" promises to be a better album in all respects. ![]() Discography : Greatest Hits Nutpunch For Grandpa!!!
