Magic Wave


Description : Magic Wave play rock with touches of The Doors, Monster Magnet and Levi Klåvus!



Brief History :
Band started in september 1997. The debut album "Magic Wave" saw the light of day in february ´98.The self-financed debut, recorded and mixed in 3 days, got great reviews. Magic Wave started working with producer Martin Kantola. In august 1998 a promotion-only single called "Smoke in my hideaway" was released. Magic Wave is currently looking for a record company with good distribution to release a second full length. As of september 1998 Magic Wave´s "Smoke in my hideaway" has made it onto the national radio station RADIO EXTREM´s playlist.

MARTYR COLONY


Description : Industrial



Brief History :
Martyr Colony formed in Columbus, Ohio in 1988. The original line-up has changed, and the band is now a three piece (keyboardist, bassist, guitarist who sings). The band have played extensively, most notably with The Wake, The Damned, The Young Gods, Evolution Control Commitee, GAGA, Sister Machine Gun and Die Krupps. They are currently recording a new EP and have released "Abrasive Technology" on Ribbed Records. They will be touring the east coast, midwest and southeast in 1999.

Myring

Description : Dark Heavy Metal



Brief History :
Myring was founded in early autumn '97 when Skred(voc) and Sargonnas(gtr) met in helsinki when Satyricon had a gig there and they united their strength to create a band. First they planned that Sargonnas should join the band in which Skred was then, Tuonela, but they realized that the music they make should be and will be a lot different.

It must fight against christianity and respect elder beliefs and values of life. So they started to make much darker metal under the name of Myring, which means 'a corpse, that is interred in marshland'. Other members they seek for a while and finally they found Leka(bass), Demonica(keyb) and Vidar(dru).

During the winter '97-'98 they rehearsed with great fury and when year '98 begun, they had few songs ready for publish, so they made a rehearsal tape/Promotape in which they took 298 copies. They found a rehearsal place in the basement of University of Technology of Tampere. Their first live performance was in the first of April 1998 in Mexas, Tampere.

Currently we are building our own rehearsal place and continue finishing new songs to our next project, a MCD or professional Demotape
