If you were asked to name a band that summoned up the power and passion of the metal scene and that played music from the heart. Who would you choose ? Thats right Manowar!!!

Oh, come on you can do better than that ?

Oh, well how about Pantera then.

Thats better, now we're on the right lines. Well whoever you'd pick just make sure that new York's Visions Of Disorder are right at the top. After 1997's self-titles debut VOD return with an album so venomous it will rip the skin off your face and leave you begging for more.

VOD diamond hard metallic hardcore will simply blow you away. Here we have a New York hardcore band that doesn't sound like a new York Hardcore cliche, most notably thanks to Tim Williams sing scream vocals and musicianship and songwriting which at times is so tight it's hard to believe.

This album stinks!

Stinks of class from the first few bars of the opening track 'What You Are' (surely a contender for street anthem of the '90,s) to ther haunting melodies of the final track 'Jada Bloom' and if thats not all 'By The River' features the one and only Phil Anselmo, how about that for a heavy combo.

This album is bursting with great guitar, stabbing bass riffs and excellent rhythms. Just check out 'Twelve Steps To Nothing', 'Colorblind', the totally O.T.T. 'Landslide' or the manic 'Locust Of The Dead Earth'.

Apparently Imprint was inspired by a beating handed out to Tim Williams, well if that really is the case then the pain he went through has been well worth it, because put simply Imprint is a monster, which only leaves one question unanswered.

If Mr. Williams went through so much for Imprint, then what the hell is he going to do for the follow up?

Imprintis released by Roadrunner Records.
