Portsmouth based band Thirst release their new single Collapse, now to be honest Thirst have been around for a while now and have played alongside such names as Bush and Feeder.

Because of the sad state of our record industry the band had to go to America for a record deal which quite frankly makes me sick and hopefully upon listening to this superb set of songs you will agree.

Falling somewhere between Nirvana and Placebo all the songs on this single (thats Collapse, Rain and Testareone) ouze class, with an exellent front man, superb bass lines and monster riffs, Thirst are surely destined for greatness.

Out of the three songs on offer I personally preferred the more moody Rain but with a title track so easy to get into its not hard to hear why it was chosen as the lead song.

Thirst have been attracting a lot of good press lately and quite rightly so, you'd be doing yourself an injustice if you missed this one.
