"More To See"

The Undecided

The Canadian foursome ups the anti on the overpopulated Melodic Punk field… flighty Power Pop crash-landing hard into the Northwestern territory by way of speedy riffs, sharp hooks and curbed tongue.

They turn up the amps and turn on the charm, serious in their tone, harmonious in their anthem, they're built to last and come together well on their latest release.

Undecided at one point, to this, they're pretty clear-cut and direct. I won't be naïve enough to say a song like "The Youngest Son," or "Cries For Jubilee" carve their own niche and become instantly recognizable favorites, though they're good songs, durable in time and spirit and loaded with plenty o' ammo for the next round.

"What Happened To Our Love's" on the other hand drafted with a subtle seconds long piano intro, unique unto itself, before light speed sets in and they're gone in a blink.

High on full scale harmonies both vocal and instrumental, The Undecided maneuver through some fairly tricky terrain, briefly visiting that which has become the "Math Rock"
scene, or to say technically complex, without the overshadowing effects and useless tack-ons that build a perfectly fine three and half song into a six minute work of confusion.

The tunes are heady and conscientious with a lot of nice instrumental breaks though minimalist time changes.

You can reel off a host of Vans Warped types and West Coast warblers to know where The Undecided finds shelter, and they could use a little more of the opening effects-brief lead in drum tracks, piano, bass tones, etc. to a better degree for overall structural dynamics where you're not left feeling you've heard the same song once, twice, and searching in vein for the place you got on.

Not bad for the Canadian import, probably not ready to challenge SNFU just yet but could be on their way with a little more mileage under their belts and tending to strengthening their manner of verse.

An up and coming strong voice in the Punk Rock scene indeed but where'd it go on the last track?
