The Pods are a three piece rock band from Arlington, Virginia.
This is an album jam packed with cruise-rock.
All of the tracks are written with quite a bit of originality, but
they have basic chord structures that have been used many time before.
So a lot of the songs on this album sound familier at times.
But nevertheless, there is a great deal of variety on this album ranging
from the sweet sound of 'Holiday' to the crooning ballad
'Catastrophe', with my favourite being 'Mindburn'
The musicianship is excellent throughout and theres some very nice
guitar work and overall a fairly relaxing rock album.
The Pods are a unique find for many true music lovers, and
only they will be able to appreciate the way that The Pods change
style with minimalistic effort.
