You Keep Moving Me (5:25) 9. Transmission (5:37) 10. Unrequited (7:50) On playing 'Stand by' one thing that will instantly hit you, is the quality of the bass on this album. It's Powerful, it's Punchy, and so inventive. This is not only on the first track, but throughout the whole album. Mary handles the Bass and I can only say Stunning. Now besides playing the bass, Mary also is the lead singer and I personally think they are great. (there should be more female vocalist's in Rock music). Chris creates a heavy atmosphere with his powerful, crushing guitar riffs and stunning solo's. While Paul's drums can only be described as superb, powerful, intricate, solid, etc,. etc,. The tracks are fairly heavy throughout the album as far as rock goes, but they do also contain strong melodies. a few tracks worth mentioning are, The first track 'Order', which starts with some great bass before a heavy riff comes in. This is followed by Mary's great vocals. Nice changes in mood, direction and tempo and with a great melody. 'The Ocean Deep' starts with an acoustic guitar, with some great bass coming in, once again great vocals from Mary, nice melody. In comes a heavy guitar riff, back to acoustic, back to heavy, the music constantly changing direction, mood and tempo. There's also a great guitar solo. And I could quite easily go on and on as each track has a degree of originality, the musicianship is outstanding and I can't wait for the follow-up. Highly Recommended!!!
