Music as we all know is an art form. Therefore Metal in all its different disguises is also an art form and should be listened to for the music, not the image.
It is a shame that Death Metal is frowned upon because if it's image and lyrics that go with it as well.
This I find very strange, strange because we all read Steven King books or we have all read somekind of Horror story and we all seen horror fils such as Friday 13th, Frankenstein, etc and at the end of the day, surely by now we all know that Death Metal lyrics are just horror stories put to music, or are we all really that scared of the afterlife ?

Teatre are four young lads from Denmark who have made Death Metal their art, simple isn't it?
No?
Well, they are not in liason with the devil, and they don't slaughter and rape virgins.
They simply play Death Metal and do a damn fine job of it as well.
The Art is a fine death metal album with just a hint of thrash/speed metal which hopefully will add them to a much wider audience. The opening track 'Entrance 666' lulls you into a false sense, being much softer than whats to follow.

'My Lament' then hits you full in the face like a 10 ton hammer. The Art then really does pick up speed, with each track perfectly linking together (like chapters in a book).

'Princes Of Many Faces', The Art', 'When Winter Came', infact all the remaining songs are played with such power that by the time the final track 'The Return' fades into the distance, you can finally relax and take stock of what has gone before you.

It's hard to describe in words the sheer power of The Art, so you'll just have to discover it for yourselves.
How?
Well, Buy it of course.
To sum up The Art is mean, moody, powerful, vulgar with some excellent riffs thrown in.
