Ferenc "Ciki" Debreczeni on Drums.
The tracks are : 'Shuffle Overture', 'Midnight Train', 'Blue Syndicate',
'Hero With 1000 Eyes', 'Soldier Of Time', 'A Winner's Not A Loser',
'Memory's Avenue', 'Take Me Back', 'Summer Town', 'Etude Opus 48/No.
5', 'Wheel Of Fortune', 'Blundered Through The Week', 'Prophecy'.
I first saw Tamas many moons ago on the Headbangers Ball on
M.T.V. It was a home made video and to be honest was of very poor
quality. But one thing that did stand out was the obvious talent
Tamas has.
Tamas is a guitar player of the Blackmore/Malmsteen class,
and Blue Syndicate is a straight down the middle Hard Rock
album. Blue Syndicate is an album full of melody and rhythm
and of course, guitars.
As with all guitar based Hard Rock albums you have your fair share
of ballad's and instrumentals, infact you get six instrumentals on
this CD, all of which show Tamas's talent to the full.
Now in the past, this type od CD would normally be let down by poor
vocals, but not in this case, Tamas has found a true talent
in Edwin Balogh. Edwin is more than able to keep ahead
of things, no more evident than on 'Midnight Train', without
doubt my favourite track on the album.
Like any true guitar great, Tamas plays all the main types
of guitar and guitar styles including classical, blues and of course
hard rock. Quite frankly Tamas is up there with the best of
them and surely it's only a matter of time before he reaches the status
he deserves. Tamas has produced one hell of an album in Blue
Syndicate and get's my whole hearted recommendation.
This CD is released by Crystal
