Skins & Pinz

Various Artists

And let the flag wave forevermore…

Skins & Pinz features the finest in purebred Punk and Hard-Core venom to release the inner Oi in us all. For anyone who thought the greatest Punk Rock died along with the seventies and the early part of the eighties, well I got news for ya, wake the Hell up and get with it, cause you don't know what you been missing.

GMM, founded on the principles of our forefathers, the greats of the glory days, has been releasing some of the finest in state of the art "Thug Rock" as they put it… though I'll relent on the 1837 date since I've no way to verify its accuracy, but the fact is, listening to many of these bands is like bridging the gap from then to now-you see it never went away for very long and even if it did, you've got the likes of Patriot, Wretched Ones and The Boils who've brought it back full circle… and with nary the slightest inclination toward a Pop tune in the whole decrepit bunch.

And to further the point, a lot of these guys ain't exactly youngsters anymore either!

All in all there's twenty-six high-powered and holistic fare with plenty o' breathing room and bootstraps to go around.

While much of the roster is dominated by the GMM catalog-Iron Cross, Templars, Global Threat, One Way System, or tied to the legendary label in some way or another, listeners will be quick to single out the likes of Agnostic Front, Dropkick Murphys and Forgotten and throw a big thumbs up in the direction of a TKO, Radical or Hellcat, amongst the ensuing carnage that's on you in a matter of seconds.

Created in the grandest Street Punk tradition, this collection will blow the heads off mainstreamist wankers looking to latch onto the next big crossover hit and will just as well blow away long in the tooth traditionalists who never believed the scene could go through such a rebuilding process and thrive the way it has today.

Clear the path from where "Volume I" left off, "Volume II's" another must have collection that offers a noisy preview of the upcoming Beer Olympics festival taking place later this summer.
