"Time To Fly" Sea of Green |

How about Sea of Swell instead the bloated bass, booming beats and reckless rhythms accentuate the "Annihilation" as we start off on this most alarming trip down memory lane Memory lane in the sense as with many of the return to form heavy Rock acts emulating the sound and style of early to mid '70s jam technicians and reverb feeders, Sea of Green is the latest entry and you'll find before very long, with a tad more depth than most. "Time to Fly" follows up this Canadian power trio's "Northern Lights" EP and it's unfortunate that I'm not writing about that one because that's where the background information's coming from. No matter, it's not likely that "Time to Fly" "ascends" anything that might've appeared before-heavy riffs, hooks, groove, and the like-with an undeniable flavor for, well, the "Green." Now what type of green we're getting at here of course depends on album sales-actually "more" green on all counts would be contingent upon such meaningless fodder as many bands are never likely to admit. "Time to Fly" does the
Stoner Rock style very well-I can put this on in any instance and right
away feel like I'm transported back in time and only need open my drawer
to be greeted by my faded bell bottoms and colorful tees with the hiked
collar
They are very melodic in fact, probably more so than most
in their league and apparently there is something to be said about consuming
that which your title's derived from
