Calling Dr. Love Roxx is a three-piece heavy metal band from USA with influences ranging from Metallica to Kiss. They are closer to Kiss though then to Metallica. Their live setlist includes covers from a wide range of major heavy metal bands together with some of their own material. Unfortunately their own songs aren't strong enough to grab your attention. The music is too uninteresting to raise above the average heavy metal bands today. The best track is the old classic song "Calling Dr. Love" from Kiss "Rock And Roll Over" album from 1976, and Roxx's version is very close to the original. The CD also includes a multi-media section with some goodies on, but all in all this isn't an album I can recommend.
