ROB ZOMBIE |
| More dead guy cavorting
by rocks pre-eminent ghoul-god. Rob Zombie strikes off on his
own but sounds pretty much the same but what did you expect, ballads? The subtitle pronounces, "13 Tales of Cadaverous Cavorting Inside The Spookshow International" and that is exactly what you get. More ghoul and zombie freak stories than one could ever hope to collect individually. Satan never had it so easy. If WHITE ZOMBIE wasn't your bag then you may still get into the kinky go-go zombie groove of "Living Dead Girl" or the rocket ride from the crypt funk of "Dragula". Both are natural radio jams with potential for 30-minute zombie-mixes. "Superbeast" is a Tarzan like call from the dead and "Spookshow Baby" could be the soundtrack to another "Orgy of the Dead" movie. The disc comes with a booklet that is jam packed with original artwork from the zombie himself as well as his mentor, Basil Gogos. One great sounding, killer looking and Satan-o-phonic recording. Long live the un-dead! Released By Geffen Review by David Lee |
