Cypher REDEFINE |
|
Bristol based Redefine have come up with their second single Cypher which in itself is quite an achievement considering two of the band are still at school, but if you were expecting sub-standard adolescent rock and roll then you are in for a shock, because with their astonishingly honed down intense sound which displays a huge depth of emotion and a level of musical efficiency which belies their years. As is the norm these days Cypher contains three tracks with the title track exuding jabbing millitary rhythyms and a surprising heavy guitar sound, while Crow Over has a real heavy intense rhythym and finally Candle Shine which features a fine almost soulful vocal. Quite simply, if you like Muse you will love Redefine. This single proves without doubt that the british music scene at all levels is alive and well and should and I repeat should be doing very nicely indeed thank you, but with all the money that still seems to be pumped into sheer crap like Hearsay (you know who I mean four spoilt brats and a crappy night club singer) what chance does real talent have to shine. I suppose thats down to you lot out there so do yourselves and the bands a great favour buy both these singles and give real music a chance it richly deserves.
