Not exactly the sort of CD that's going to offend your parents. In fact your dad will probably start reminiscing about the time he saw Genesis back in '74.

On the other hand they are pretty good in a Marillion prog-rock style, and generally avoid the worst excesses of the genre.

No 30 minute concept pieces here, but rather some catchy pop-songs.

The biggest problem Primitive Instinct are going to face is that they are just too nice to make it big in the current music climate, where if you don't upset someone then you're not going to get played.

They probably go down a storm at their local pub, but its hard to see them selling out any stadiums. They're not going to convert anyone, but if you're already a fan of the genre then its definitely worth a listen.
