Certitudes
PRESENT

Present are Roger Trigaux on Guitar, Keyboards and Vocals, Reginald Trigaux on Guitar and Vocals, Alain Rochette on Piano and Keyboards, Guy Segers on Bass and Daniel Denis on Drums, Percussion and Vocals.

The Tracks are : 'Delusions', 'May Day', 'The Sense Of Life' and 'Ex-Tango'.

'Delusions', is an epic of a track at nearly 15 minutes long. The track starts with a combination of jazzy piano and vocals. The music is dark and heavy with a strong jazz fusion influence. There's plenty of Mood, changes in tempo and direction, with some great guitar. The band play a hypnotic rhythym overlayed with some stunning guitar solo's.

'May Day', is a great track, starting with just a piano playing before switching to electronic keyboards, the vocals are then introduced. There's some nice percussion going on in the background, while the keyboards float about. The only way I can describe some of the music sounds hectic. There are some nice changes in tempo, mood and direction.

'The Sense Of Life', Starts with a muffled guitar sound with Johnny Rotten type vocals (P.I.L) before changing direction to a jazz scale being played on guitar, hypnotic drums and deep thumping bass lines.

'Ex-Tango' is the shortest track on the album, there is a very strong drum sound, with some great overlayed guitar.

I think Certitudes is an excellent CD. But it is quite different to anything else I have heard.
It's very dark, highly complex at times, hypnotic rhythyms, excellent guitar work.
If your looking for something a little different, then I would suggest that you buy Certitudes
