Hands up all of you have already guessed by the title, what type of
metal Ouija play ?.
Yes, thats right Death Metal and hands up again all those of you because
it's death metal will avoid this like a needle in the buttocks. Yes,
I thought so, which is a shame really because if you ignore the death
like make-up and the plastic vampire teeth, put the image of devil
worship and satanism aside for just one second and open your ears,
you'll find death metal still has it's place in metal and if you listen
with your open ears and mind, you will hear in Riding Into The
funeral Paths one of the finest examples of death metal your ever
likely to hear.
Ah yes, but what about my soul and internal damnation for listening
to such music. Well, get a life, is what I say, lets face it we have
all seen horror films countless times and read horror books. Stephen
King has made a fortune out of it, so whats the difference, death
metal is horror put to music.
The whole thing kicks off with 'When The Sun Shall Die', a
very moody atmospheric songwhich makes the hair on the back of your
neck stand up and prepares you for the horror to come. 'Crossing
The Seventh Gate', sees Ouija turning it to full power
and by the time 'Unbridled Transylvanian Passion' kicks in
your hooked. Hooked on Ouija's own special brand of Death Metal.
The pace remains fast and furious throughout 'Riding Into The Funeral
Paths' without ever losing it's purpose or direction, the vocals
are varied, something you would expect from death metal, while the
musicainship is of the highest standard.
Quality, they say, is the key to success, well if that is the case
then 'Riding Into The funeral Paths', should sell by the bucket
load. Ouija have created a must have in 'Riding The Funeral
Paths' and whether your a saint or a sinner, add 'Riding Into
The Funeral Paths' to your collection as soon as possible and
let your god go with you.
