Trust No One
NOVEMBER 17 (N17)

November 17 is Trevor Askew on Vocals, Damon on Bass, Chris Cannella on Guitar, Mark Keltner on Guitar & Programming and Jason Kowalski on Drums.

The Tracks are : 'Grip', 'Kontrol', 'A Different Kind of War', 'Creation', 'Version 1.2', 'Virus', 'Religion', 'Waste', 'Tragedy' and 'Hail'.

N17, short for November 17, took their name from a Greek leftist terrorist group. The band comes from Pheonix, Arizona.

November 17 or N17 depending on how accurate you want to be play Industrial Metal not dissimilar to the likes of Ministry. Infact the opening track 'Grip', could easily be compared to Ministry Psalm 69, not that this is a bad thing, but Psalm 69 came out a few years ago and time has moved on. Now the question is can a band like N17 compete with a Hardcore dominated market, and personally I think the answer is quite definately yes.

Bands like N17 take harsh distorted guitars, brutal drum sounds and add electronic elements and samples, but somehow still maintain a sense of melody.

Trust No One contains many outstanding tracks, my favourites have to be 'Grip', 'Virus' and the outstanding 'Religion'. But to be fair, all 10 tracks do deserve a mention.

For those who thought Industrial Metal had lived and died after Ministry, I'm happy to report it's alive and well and called November 17.
