The SpillingMETAL MIKE CHLASCIAK |
|
More shred per second than any Metal guitarist has ever attempted and quite possibly a feasible alternative to traditional birth control for a single listen by the average ear is sure to cause sterility. To be sure this is a guitar record with the only featured vocals coming in the form of samples so your attention is never long off of what Chlasciak is doing. Truthfully it is hard to keep up an after a certain point it is better just to lay flat and ride the wave of sound knowing that you are going places that you have never been before. “THE SPILLING” is a compilation of sorts with its material split in half between “Too many notes” versions of previously released songs and “Rare bonus tracks.” For me it is all new as this is the first Chlasciak disc in my collection but with the amount of play that this is getting it certainly won’t be the last. Fans of HALFORD will obviously want to give this disc a bit of time in the player due to the fact that one half of that band’s axe attack is featured here but if you are a fan of the Vai’s, Satriani’s, Malmsteen’s and others of the shred calling you will find this disc an inescapable purchase choice.
