The opening track is 'Internal Combustion', a great rock track with it's heavy guitar riff also has contains some great intricate guitar work. Excellent vocals from Jeff. There's also some superb keyboards, and there's a catchy chorus.

Next it's 'Just Out Of Reach', this is more mellow, but show Man On Fire to be dark and moody starting with some spacey type keyboards and guitar effects before a great bass line comes in. Great vocals and another quite catchy song.

The third track is 'The Rain And The Rainbow', is more of a rock-pop song. But it's one of those track that grabs your attention andfor me has become a favourite. Again great bass, superb guitar from Eric and great keyboards and wonderful vocals.

Next is 'Like A Star', a slow and moody track, the vocals remind me quite a bit of Prince or TAFKAP as he is now known. The drums have quite a solid sound to them. Excellent guitar and keyboards.

'Hanglider', is an excellent instrumental with a slight oriental feel to it. there's some excellent guitar that although is quite heavy has a Gilmourish feel to it. There are nice changes in direction and mood with some excellent keyboards. Superb guitar solo.

Track six is 'In Motion', another excellent track and to me is a kind of cross between Duran Duran and Japan. Superb vocals and great guitar.

The next track is 'Time Was Frozen', which starts with some nice piano and keyboards. Again great vocals from Jeff. Very catchy tune and great guitar solo.

'High' is probably the most commercial track on the album. Nice keyboards, acoustic guitar and a very catchy tune.

Track nine 'Not Just For America', nice keyboards, excellent lyrics with some great keyboards and guitar.

The next track 'One To Live' One To Die' is a nice track that reminds me of Japan and Duran Duran. The vocals are superb, great guitar.

'No Suprise' another excellent track with great lyrics and once again superb vocals and guitar.

And the final track is 'The One', which is another excellent track, Strong drums, with some excellent keyboards and guitar create a dark moody track, slightly reminiscent of Japan.
This track also flows into a re-mixed version of 'Internal Combustion' with more bass and guitars and nothing else, no drums, no keyboards. Overall, a strange effect, but the track still has strength and the structure is still there.

Man On Fire is an excellent album and one I will be listening to a lot in the future.
Highly Recommended!!!
