Having listened to this CD quite a few times now, I can tell you that this is one quality album that grows on you from the moment you put it on.

I must admit though when I first heard the vocals, they reminded me of somebody else, and it took me a while to figure out who Jason sounds like. Anyway not that takes anything away from this album, but just to let you know, Jason to me sounds a bit like Pepper Kernon of Corrosion of Conformity.

Transcending The Godless Age Of Science contains 10 tracks of hard-nosed metal, right in your face and this is right from the start up until the album finishes.

The musicianship throughout is quite superb and the attention to detail is just outstanding from the air raid sirens on 'Single Anchor Mechanism' to the samples on 'Megalith' and 'Conjuntion Kunundrum'.

Malevolence I would say have to say are influenced by Ministry and in a way Corrosion of Conformity, but I think this is mainly due to the vocals.

To be honest, all of the tracks are quite superb, but for me just a few I would pick out are 'Silkwood', 'Single Anchor Mechanism', 'Eye Bite Matrix' and 'Conjunction Kunundrum'.

If you like your music, hard, heavy and in your face then I camn only say go and buy this album.
Highly recommended!!!
