"Superstar" Love Saves The Day |
|
Love Saves The Day there's an unexpected twist for an actual band name for radio ready Rock foursome from South Jersey. Nothing comical, cynical, clinical
or confounding, just breezy, flighty sing along, feel In fact combine the two or three and there's an excellent referral for these mop-topped Johnny come latelys from the Cheap Trick school of hook, harmony and safe house intuitiveness. Soulful and catchy, their tunes
work well within most spheres of the age scale-from Lead crooner Dean Davidson's come a long way from his Party Rock "rule breaking" ten years gone exploits however a "Long Way From Love" he is not. His vocals, soft spoken, clear and impassioned, stand to the forefront to this electric/acoustic variety put to great use by a top-notch production well beyond beginner band expectation. And unlike many of their persuasion, Love Saves The Day's debut possesses a strong degree of lasting power where every song hits on some level of individuality, save for a few quirks and one too many jerks of the heartstring. Through it all their mature approach to simple stay at home songwriting and melodic charm should offer plenty of potential to break into the modern day mainstream of success stories.
