Proving that maybe the third time's a charm, the Welsh quartet bursts out at the seams following up on their earlier "Stuffed" EP in giving the modern rock audience their "Greatest Gift" of all! If the first quarter of the new material is any indication, Liberty 37 possesses a deep admiration for a guitar hook as this is a hot sound bed of crunching rhythmic riffs laid out among melodic overtones comparable to the likes of a Cheap Trick and The Smithereens. "Oh River" is a flood rush of heaviness with a slight nod in the direction of "Rage…" particularly where Ishmail Lewis pipes in his turbulent lyrics-"feel it!" "Promise Me," right on its heels is closely reminiscent to an early likeness of the Scottish rock band Gun, in just about every facet of the song structure right down to Lewis's congruently muted singing. "No Beauty" sparkles and fades in a wow and flutter of sonic echo before giving way to the forced aggressiveness that could be expected from a title like "Revolution" which maintains a solid half drum beat signature and almost Cult-like rhythm structure!
