What can I say; apart from I didn't understand a bloody word on this disc, except for a few words here and there. perhaps it's because it's mainly in German and I don't Sprekenze Deutche, but hey that didn't stop me enjoying it though. It's avery melodramatic pice of work, strong in places, orchestral in places, heavy and damn fine!!

The first track 'Fassade -1, Satz', which unfortunately comes to a very abrupt end, is probabl one of my favourites. Shame it finished so soon as I was getting well into the total feel of it.

'Der Morgen Danach' sort os takes over where the latter ended, with some haunting female vocals sung in German and a little sprinkling of English. You can feel the tension of this song building the longer it goes on, it teases you until it comes to life midway through, then it's back to the way it was when the track opened. Again this track just stops...oh he gets it now! We're not treated to the full versions here and that is a damn shame, how record companies expect you to do a proper review when you haven't got the whole tracks is beyond me!!

The rest of what is on offer is very harmonic and very easy on the ear. You get the odd occassion where the guitars rip in, but to e honest it doesn't really need it. For me track 5 has to be one of the stand out tracks with the very slow melodic begining, the haunting medieal type vocal style.

Track 6 just does it for me though 'Liebesspiel', it's like listening to two seperate bands on one disc under the same name, if that makes any sense? Lacrimosa show us the rockier side of their talents with a diamond of a track.

I'd be very interested to hear full versions of all of these tracks as I've thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. the musicians are very competent, the vocal styles are wonderful, all in all a very melodramatic harmonic experience!
