Forever War features 12 tracks of very high quality Metal/Crossover
in the true Machine Head/Pantera style. Unfortunately this is where
the problem lies, not only for Kickback, but for many new up
and coming bands of today. Now I'm not saying that this is a bad CD,
it isn't. All of the tracks are well written and the standard of musicianship
is very high and they carry the aggressive style of playing normally
associated with this type of metal.
The problem is that it's now becoming a liitle too predictable.
Kickback can without a doubt write a good tune, but instead of
following a trend, they just need to spend a bit more time with thoughts
of originality and they could have turned a good CD into a great one.
