To think that only moments in
to the first song… er, static leak, I was NYC locals bring together a number
of doom influences notably Burning Witch and And while nothing is clearly presented I'm beginning to see why no words were included in the cover booklet-nothing, not even close, though I'm having a tough enough time deciphering the gaseous elements floating around the center spread… But words, a key element to most, take on new significance and in fact I think they've invented an whole new language that lies somewhere between Latin and Devil-speak… Khanate's definitely an acquired taste that fans of Hard-Core Black and Doom will identify with and that's a truly scary thought from where I sit. So sit down and gather round the fire and let the slow torture consume every last fiber of your being as you prepare to meet your maker.
