Guitarist Bill Stu, bassist Teri Francis, vocalist Jim Morgan and drummer Tom Morgan formed the band Morgan Stu, a blues rock group, based out of the blue collar districts of Boston, MA, USA. Tom Morgan left the band, but they quickly reformed, adding drummer, Mark Oliviera and guitarist Mike Burgess. This gave the band a harder edge and they decided to change the name to Jozlin Bones.

In 1995 they released their long awaited debut CD "Welcome To America" and hard hitting songs such as 'S.O.I.A' and 'Freedom' quickly won the hearts of many. After a series of sold out live performances the band retutrned to the recording studio.

"Jozlin Bones II", was released in early 1996 and received airplay throughout the USA and abroad. in late 1996 vocalist Jim Morgan couldn't fill the needs of the band anymore so he departed. Bill Stu decide to front the band.

"Jozlin Bones", is a collection of past and present material and is the first CD released with Bill Stu as lead vocalist.

Jozlin Bones play traditional 70's rock. There is often a sinister edge to some of the slower songs that sounds strange on an album that contains good rock songs. The lyrics often deal with social issues.

'Push' a slow solid rock song witha crunching riff. The guitar sound is as heavy as it gets sounding like a chainsaw. However heavy the guitars are the song never loses it's sense of tune and melody. This is true of all of Jozlin Bones heavier tracks.

'Out Of Control' is faster and almost sounds like an American influenced Iron Maiden.

'Who's To Blame' is one of the best tracks on the album. It is slower with good dynamics between verse and chorus. It is also complemented with some good lead guitar work.

'Outta Sight' also sounds a bit like Iron Maiden. The simple rhythm tracks are complemented with sporadic lead guitar.

'Y2K', is a slower song that uses an organ and other spacey sound effects to create an excellent atmosphere. This song shows that Jozlin Bones are not afraid to take time to build atmosphere and are not afraid to try different things in their songs.

'Get Ready' and 'Born To Die' are faster songs which have strange vocals and a strange atmosphere.

'Jozlin Bones' is a rock album that has more depth to it than most making it a worthwhile purchase for fans of any sort of rock music.
