The opening track is 'Memories Of A Past Life', this is basically a song about reincarnation and all of the past lifes that this guy can remember. This track is quite brilliant, the instrumentation is very good and the idea behind the song is original.

The next track is 'Lonelyness', this track begins with a dramatic intro, and then kicks off into something totally different. The guitar solo's/harmonies that flow over the top of the music is stunning. A consitent change in mood during the piece is also quite refreshing.

The third track 'Alice', the best part of this track is the vocals, even though they sound like they're going out of tune, this creates a fantastic contrast against the backing chords. The Hyena heckles aren't bad either.

The next track 'Whispers', boasting a fantastic motif and some remarkable solo's, this is almost the best track on the album. The sampled rainat the start sets the scene beautifully for an equally beautiful song.

'Revolutions', a very dramatic and entirely instrumental track with some nice solo's.

The sixth track 'Screams From The Coast', a power rock ride through many different scenarios.

The next track 'The Ride', starst with a very ornate and peculiar intro, the rest of the music carries this same weird feeling that creates some very discordant sounds and emotions.

'Ogre', 2 minutes of Agro-rock that attempts to terrorise and intimidate the listener, unfortunately it never quite makes it.

The final track is 'Farewell : A New Beginning', this is the best track on the album. It has a very warm, homely feel created by the crisp, clear sound of a non-distorted guitar. That is until a distorteed guitar bursts in and takes the track in a different direction. The solo that melts over the top of this is fantastic. When this cuts out the original motif is brought back for our enjoyment.

Overall, a very enjoyable album. The instrumentation and music is extremely good and the lyrics and vocals were exceptional. I would recommend this release to anyone who enjoys heavy rock music with a difference.
