Some Reflections The first track 'Different World' starts with some great soaring guitar, this is followed with a very good bass rhythm, then the whole band comes in at an extremely fast pace. The vocals are excellent from Dimitrios, this is a very catchy piece. The keyboards are great and there's also some excellent guitar work. The next track 'No Doubt', starts with some fast guitar playing, again some excellent bass, followed by the band and some excellent guitar work. This track is a lot slower than the previous track, but has a superb rhythm. Dimitrios on this track shows that he has quite a good range within his voice. Excellent guitar solo. The third track 'Macchina dell'Oro' has an acoustic guitar intro with some soaring guitar over the top. This is followed by some excellent keyboards and some outstanding guitar and makes for a very interesting instrumental. The next track is also the name of the band 'Jester's Tears', this track is a ballad and shows an Eastern influence. The acoustic guiatr playing is excellent. The vocals are strong and there's some Spanish style guitar towards the end. 'Pride', an excellent track with Dimitrios being assisted on vocals by Tina Frank. Tina has a very nice voice and fits in perfectly with Dimitrios and the music. The final track, listed as 'Some Reflections', to me sounds like 'Pride' but recorded backwards. Still, it's makes for an interesting track and there is some excellent guitar. Overall, a superb release from Jester's Tear on this MCD. The music is superb with quite a few catchy tunes that will soon get you hooked. Highly Recommended!!! Released by Rockwerk Records.
