JIM TZEMPERTZIS - GUITARS It's been a hell of a long time since I heard a band be as instantly brutal and as wickedly offensive as Into The Gore! They are a bunch of mean, pretty bloody nasty, not very likeable death/grind sickos! Calling your demo "The Art Of Rape" is bad enough to begin with, but if you're of a nervous disposition you don't even want to know what this lot would like to do to your local bible bashing priest if they got their blood soaked mitts on him as graphically mapped out in "Raw". Speaking of which, they could've written a song with the same title about the production values of this forsaken pile of crap. Into The Gore play fast, scream fast and distort whatever they can. AMX's low vocals are amateurish, his high vocals are a bastard to listen to and very laughable. The drumming sounds almost live and there are more crappy widdly solos than you could shake a decapitated head at. The lyrics are vicious, violent and pretty fucking disgusting in places. Basically this is a totally humourless, unsophisticated piece of work. Think BAD NEWS (Vim Fuego, Colin Grigson, Den Dennis & Spider Webb) and you get the picture! Pain Must Be Amplified? By fucking Christ was it. Listening to this was hard work. If every band in this genre sounded as fucking bad as this, what hope is there? If this lot were destroyed in a bizarre accident of some sort, I wouldn't feel the world of Gore Metal would have lost anything at all. Total, complete and utter BOLLOCKS! Review by Chris Wheeler |
