| Hydrotoxin are a young talented quintet from Germany. They mix hard heavy riffs with classical,rock, funk and jazz elements with strong melodies. Hydrotoxin are : Oliver Hintz on keyboards, Olaf "pelle" Hoffmeister on Drums, Jioti Parcharidis on Vocals, Andreas Kienitz on Guitar and Matthias Vogel on Bass. The Tracks are : 'Infinite Ways', 'Nexus', 'Labyrinth', 'Door To December', 'Oceans', 'Forest Rain', 'Aquasun'. The opening track is 'Infinite Ways', this is a great track, Jioti has a great voice and really suits this type of music. The music is in a similar vein to Fream Theater, Fates Warning, Etc, There are some nice keyboards, nice changes in direction and tempo and some great guitar. Next is 'Nexus', another great track, great guitar, nice keyboards, nice changes in tempo and direction. Track three is 'Labyrinth', superb track with some great guitar, and some nice keyboards. There are nice changes in tempo and direction. Next is 'Door To December', which is a great instrumental with some excellent guitar. 'Oceans', great track with some excellent guitar. There are some nice changes in direction. Next is 'Forest Rain', great vocals, great guitar, nice changes in tempo, direction and mood. And the last track is 'Aquasun', the shortest track on the album at 1:41, nice vocals and keyboards. Except for two tracks on this album, all the other compositions are over 7 minutes long. This is a very good album and fans of progressive metal fans should love it. The vocals are excellent and there's some great guitar work. This CD is released by Crystal Rock.
