Polarity

Haujobb

The astral sounds pulsate through your listening zone; compelling, free flowing, "Polarity" is an instantaneous burst of electro-luminescence that floats you high above the material world and into an hour long spiritual void that you will capture your imagination and revisit often.

"Polarity" marks Haujobb's first release in over two years and the duo of Dejan Samardzic and Daniel Meier successfully pilot your journey in this great beyond.

The German duo since their early nineties origins have been creating state of the art electronic music like few others, mixing rough samples, erotic ambience and drum and bass to make for an often smooth, sometimes edgy and often heightened listening experience-one need only compare and contrast the beauty of "Subsonic" with its layers of aural textures and daunting beats with the visionary mechanics of "Sinus Problem" which ranks at or near the top within this grand scheme that we only begin to uncover at this early stage, and its high-tech Euro-club quality which allows only a small glimpse of the talents that lie beneath the surface of Haujobb.

Earlier moments in the life of Haujobb coincide with such other renowned masters of the art as Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly and remix wars with Wumpscut places the duo in some impressive company and deservedly at the core of the cutting edge.

"Polarity," tied together by thematically done nocturnal emission FX furthering the new age richness that fuses the whole, all conspiring to at the end of the journey, leave a lasting influence on the listener longing for a momentary escape to the dimly lit other limits of surrealism.
