Musicians:
Peter Hammill: plays grand piano, semi-acoustic guitar and, principally,
a mother keyboard driving various rock-mounted samplers and synthesizers
Guy Evans: performs on a percussion "kit" consisting of a number
of acoustic instruments and an Octapad which he triggers a variety of
sampled and synthesized sounds. Some of these belong to the traditional
percussion family, including sampled versions of instruments of his own
design; & pianos, stings, woodwinds and other customised voices.

This is the first
collaboration between Peter Hammill and Guy Evans since
their days in Van der Graaf Generator.
Van der Graaf Generator
was one of the best and most important bands ever in progressive rock,
and they gave us classical albums such as "H to he who am the only
one", "Pawn Hearts" and "Still Life".
This album is however
completely different than the Van der Graaf Generator albums, as it's
all-instrumental and entirely improvised.
It's hard to categorise
the music but I would place it somewhere in-between electronic music,
progressive rock and classical music.
It's without doubt
two very talented musicians who knows each other very well musically since
the Van der Graaf Generator days.
This is music without
boundaries, and you have to really sit down and listen to it patiently
to fully get the essence of the music and enjoy it, because this is an
enjoyable album if you give it some time!
