The founder members of the speed core movement, charged G.B.H certainly appealed to a wide audience. Ranging from the hard-core punk fans to the typical metal fans , in particular the Motorhead fan base.

With 22 tracks on offer o this disc, you'll be pogoing from the off with the track entitled 'Race Against Time'. Think of Motorhead with punk overtones and this is basically how charged G.B.H come across.

Stand out track's on this disc include 'No Survivors' which was given single of the week, when it was first released way back in January 1982. This track is a rampaging pogo pearl certain to appeal to all fans in demented equal classes. A stirring clarion call paves the way for this overkill explosion.

'Sick Boy' came out the same year and stayed around in the indie chart for around four months. 'Catch 23' a song about the promoters that had ripped the band off came out in the summer of 1983.

"You promised us the world then took it all away,
slogging around the country for a tenner a day"

Not only could the punk bands of the day relate to that, but also any band that was around at that time could.

'Do What You Do' was the first single to be released as both 7" & 12" and came out in September 1984. This is probably G.B.H's crowning moment, both musically and lyrically, listen and see what I mean.

All in all very good compilation of a very good punk band.
Well worth being an any music fans collection
