| Gooseflesh are : Kristian Lampila on lead Vocals and Guitars Tommy Scalisi Svensson on Guitars and Vocals Robert Halemo on Bass and vocals Lars Berger on Fibes. The tracks are : 1. Suffer Age 2. Blinded 3. Killing Stone 4. Seeds Of Terror 5. Fine Tuned War Machine Gooseflesh have been around since the winter of 95/96. After a few changes in line-up they recorded a few demo's 'THE WRAITH' and 'GLOW' which have now sold out. In September '97 Gooseflesh entered the studio and recorded the five track tape 'Welcome To Suffer Age'. This demo continued to raise interest in the band, not just from their followers but from record labels too. Gooseflesh decided that Goldtrack Records would be the right label to release 'Wecome To Suffer Age' as a MCD as they seemed to be the most dedicated with a genuine interest in the band and their music. Gooseflesh have also featured on several compilations, the most prestigious being 'Sepultural Feast - A Tribute To Sepultura', contributing with a true version of the classic 'Slave New World'. Gooseflesh's music is heavy, but at the same time retains a melodic quality about it. They also show a variety of influences such as Pantera, Black Sabbath and Sepultura to name a few. The first track is 'Suffer Age', an excellent track which shows influences such as Pantera and Sepultura. The vocals are quite deep vocal, and there are some nice changes in direction and tempo, great guitar. The next track 'Blinded', This track is not quite as heavy as the first one and reminds me more of Black Sabbath, again there are some nice changes in tempo and there's an excellent guitar solo. 'Killing Stone', this is an excellent track with some great heavy guitar riffs, nice changes in tempo and Kristians deep vocals really fit in well. There's also a stunning guitar solo 'Seeds Of Terror', fast, furious and heavy as hell. Another great track with nice changes in tempo, excellent guitar solo. 'Fine Tuned War Machine' is an excellent track with some great heavy metal guitar with a stop/start riff. Nice changes in direction and another excellent guitar solo. Well, some of you who have read the demo tape section will realise that Gooseflesh are one of the bands featured there. Since sending their tape to me for review they have been offered a recording contract with Goldtrack Records and I for one am very pleased for them and let's hope they release a full length CD soon.
