This is the debut album by the band and the tracks are : 'Drag',
'Mad Trigger Bitch', 'Surface', 'Ed The Troll Beater', 'Quaratine
Me', 'Once again', 'Sunday Mornings', 'Horizon', 'All The Same' and
'Reaction'.
The album opens with an excellent track entitled 'Drag', this
track has some nice changes in direction. Some of the vocals are very
Red Hot Chilli Pepper like and there's some excellent guitar.
'Mad Trigger Bitch', has some excellent vocals and some great
guitar. There's a chorus in the track that reminds me a little of
Guns'N'Roses.
The third track which is 'Ed The Troll Beater' is an excellent
track with some great guitar. There are some nice changes in tempo,
mood and direction.
Next is a track entitled 'Quarantine Me', a great track, a
little bit more uptempo with good changes in direction and some excellent
guitar.
'Once Again', is another great track with some great guitar.
'Sunday Mornings' is the seventh track on the album and it
is an excellent track with some nice changes in tempo, direction and
mood. There's some great guitar too.
Next is 'Horizon', another excellent track with nice changes
in tempo. Excellent guitar.
Track nine is 'All the Same' a great track that starts quietly
and gradually builds up. Again has some excellent guitar.
The last track is called 'Reaction' which is an excellent track
with nice changes in mood, tempo and direction.
Fred Pepper are a band full of energy and ready to rock. Some
of the tracks on this album do show a degree of originality and this
is an excellent album considering this is their debut album.
