Forever Einstein is a Connecticut-based trio consisting of guitar, drums and bass.

"Down With Gravity" is their 4th release on the magnificent Cuneiform label. Their instrumental music covers a wide spectrum of musical genres.

Here and there you can hear influences from such different genres as blues, country, folk, heavy metal, jazz, pop, progressive, psychedelic, R&B, RIO and rock.

It's definitely NOT mainstream in any way. The complex compositions are in constant progress with odd rhythms, many mood and tempo changes, and the musicians are highly technical.

Guitarist Chuck Vrtacek has written all compositions except one.

Their influences are Henry Cowell, Hamza el Din, Jimi Hendrix, Henry Cow, King Crimson, Gene Krupa, Henry Mancini, Perry & Kingsley, Nino Rota, Erik Satie, Raymond Scott, Carl Stalling, Frank Zappa.

You can also hear some reminiscences to Chris Cutler, Fred Frith and Henry Kaiser.

Forever Einstein's music is a melting pot of all these influences, and the result is what you can hear on this album. Quite weird in a positive way.
