The first track is 'Electricity', a great opener which starts with the sound of electricity, the band then comes in, the music is fairly heavy, but with strong melodies with great vocals from Ian. The guitar work is outstanding and there's also some great bass and drums. Quite a catchy tune. Towards the end there's a really great solo from Jay.

The next track is 'Stab 'Em All', this track starts with some keyboards followed by a thumping slow rhythm, hard hitting drums, before the guitar riff comes in, again quite heavy. This track agian features some outstanding guitar work and a great solo.

The third and title track is 'Soul', starting with some spacey type keyboards slightly reminiscent of Pink Floyd. The guitar comes in , the pace is quite fast, excellent guitar work, there's some nice acoustic guitar mid track. This track has some nice changes in direction, mood and tempo. Again this is another quite catchy tune.

The next track is 'Distant Light' starting with acoustic guitar, followed quickly by some great keyboards, this track is a lot more mellower than the previous tracks. It still contains some heavy guitar, but this track is more melodic and is more relaxing.

'Surface' , this goes straight into heavy riffing, drums have a solid sound, nice bass, good vocals, nice melody, the track then suddenly picks up pace and in comes some nice keyboards. The track then returns to a repeat of the first section.

The sixth track is 'Spaceman Serenade' starting with some superb fast guitar, in comes some great bass and drums. After a while the track slows down and Ian's vocals come in. Nice melody, there's also some nice keyboards and more stunning guitar work. The track ends with the sound of an explosion.

The next track is 'Journey', starting with some nice acoustic guitar and keyboards. Again this track has a nice melody and is quite catchy. Later, in comes a heavy guitar over the top, good solid drums from Cody. Again this track has an excellent guiatr solo and the track fades with some excellent bass.

'Fragile', starts with some superb drumming from Cody, followed soon after by a heavy guitar and some nice keyboards. In comes the vocals and Jay plays some superb guitar. Quite a catchy tune. Nice bass, followed by some stunning guitar work.

The ninth track 'Mist', another track that is on the quieter side, starts with some nice keyboards and acoustic guitar. This track is more classical influenced.

The next track is 'Dying Hope', and starts with a nurse calling for a doctor over a tannoy system followed by the sound of a heartbeat. Nice acoustic guitar, nice vocals, nice drums and percussion. In comes the heavy guitar. More excellent guitar work, back to the riffs and vocals, keyboards playing in the background. Again quite a catchy tune. Track fades to some nice bass, a nurse calling over the tannoy.

The final track is 'Nobody's Perfect', starting with a young boy saying 1,2,3,4. In comes the band, heavy guitar, good vocals, this is another quite catchy tune. And yes, some more excellent guitar work!!

This is also an enhanced CD and contains avideo song 'Stab 'Em All' as well as some song sample's to 'Life Control', Eye Rhyme's debut album as well as a picture of the band and contact address.

This is an excellent albumwith influences such as Rush, Faith No More and Queensryche, but everything is just right the music shows a lot of originality and the musicianship is just superb and the production quality is too the highest degree.

This is one album you just have to have in your collection.
