This is a progressive electronic rock debut solo album by the keyboard maestro Erik Norlander (Lana Lane, Rocket Scientists).

The music that is reminiscent to Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd, Pär Lindh and Rick Wakeman has influences from the 70's, but is performed in the 90's tradition. Erik Norlander's influences are Keith Emerson (the liner notes are written by Keith), Rick Wakeman, Eddie Jobson, Mike Pinder, Patrick Moraz, Geoff Downes and Chick Corea.

Erik Norlander mixes vintage and modern keyboards such as Alesis synthesizers, ARP String Ensemble, Emu Emulator II+ HD, Ensoniq ESQm and SQR, Hammond Model D with Leslie 122, Mellotron Model 400, Minimoog, Rhodes MK-80 and Yamaha GX-1 to name a few.

The production is very clear and powerful and it's a very strong album. My favorite tracks are the opening "Arrival", "Neurosaur", "Neuro Boogie" which is the best track on this album, "Trantor Station", "Waltz Of The Biots" and the closing "Critical Mass".

The English sci-fi painter Jim Burns makes the nice cover artwork.
Recommended to lovers of Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman!
