Ecocide Earth Crisis where formed way back in 1992 and since then, Earth Crisis have built a huge following in the States and have played with such bands as Anthrax and Machine Head. Infact, Machine Heads, Robb Flynn appears on the track 'One Against All'. Breed The Killers is twelve track of brutal, double barrelled, full of hate Hardcore that will go along way to establishing the band worldwide. The track 'Ultramilitance' talks about such groups as Earthfirst, Animal Liberation Front and Sea Shepherds, but its the title track 'Breed The Killers' with it's thumping bass line and hard hitting vocals that makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end and take notice and believe me, you'll be glued to the speakers until the last few bars of 'Ecocide' fade in the distance. Putting political and ecoligical belief's aside for a moment, Earth Crisis are a fine band in their own right, playing quality songs written by quality musicians, you just have to listen to the guitar/drum assault on 'Filthy Hands to Famished Mouths', the sheer power and passion of the vocal delivery on 'Into The Fray' and 'One Against All'. Buechner's destructive roar sends ashiver down your spine and gives your speakers a much needed kick up the arse. One thing you will notice when listening to Breed The Killers is the sheer power and aggression that fill the room as each track unfolds and remembering that this is only a CD. Imagine what Earth Crisis are capable of when they play live. Breed The Killers is Hardcore at it's very best and Earth Crisis are a band who are prepared to tell as many as who are prepared to listen about their beliefs and for that I take my hat off to them.
