Daisy Chain With Me
DAISY CHAIN

This group is a band to watch. The basic elements for an incredibly successful rock and roll outfit are here but a bit of refinement and time to mature is needed if DAISY CHAIN intends to make a run at the big time. The songwriting is already very good and reflects an amazing grasp of all the rock and roll essentials.

Complexity without pretension and near tribalistic brutality intermixed to form something very unique. There are elements of THE DOORS, IRON MAIDEN and GENESIS present. Much to their credit, no blatant thievery is evident.

The song that makes this disc eminently recommendable is "Sanction Man". The analog production gives off an FM radio feel to this Peter Gabriel-esque blues romp. How they managed to incorporate a BEATLES style harmony vocal with such precision and perfection simply amazes me.

The remainder of the disc forms a solid base from which to launch from and if the winds are right these guys should ride the airwaves relatively soon.

As an aside, the cover artwork is very provocative and will probably cause this disc to banished to the under counter area of your local store so don't look for it, ask for it!
