Dagmahr is : Mathieu Lassard on Vocals, Guitars and Bass Pedals,

The tracks are :
In Every Failure
Paradox#1 for two pianos
Destiny
Just In Words
A I'aube de ...
Leaving For Paris

The opening track 'In Every Failure', an excellent track that starts off with guitar and violin playing before the vocals come in. Mathieu handles the vocals superbly, his vocals style I would say at times is similar to Fish's. An unusual guitar pattern is then played, but combined with the vocals works well. The keyboards remain quietly played in the background for most of the track except for a keyboard solo in the middle. This is followed by a superb guitar solo, a section which is very much VDGG (Van Der Graaf Generator)/ King Crimson style followed by another great guitar solo. The music is forever changing direction, mood and tempo.

The next track is 'Paradox#1 for two pianos', as you would guess from the title, this is a piece of music played on piano that creates a lot of emotion.

Track three is 'Destiny', an excellent which starts with some nice keyboards before a strong drum and heavy bass sound comes in followed by a heavy guitar sound. Again Mathieu vocals are superb. There's a great section in the middle with violins, guitars, and some spacy sounding keyboards. Again the music is constantly changing direction, mood and tempo.

The next track is 'Just In words', a great track which starts with Mathieu singing acapello before the guitar comes in heavy with a strong drum beat. There are some superb keyboards, great guitar finishing with a fading violin.

'A I'aube de...', is more of a classical piece. Lots of emotions are conveyed to the listener and this shows the versitality of the songwriting for this group.

The final track is 'Leaving For Paris',an excellent track lasting some 16 mins + starting with keyboards and vocals quickly followed by some quite intricate guitar. Another track in which the music has many changes in direction, mood and tempo. Great guitar, great keyboards, great vocals.

Overall, a brilliant album. The quality is superb, the musicianship and songwriting skills are excellent. The sounds on this album are original, and refreshing to listen too and I would advice any Progressive Rock fans to go out and buy this CD now.
