Well, Les can do anything he wants to do basically and to drive home the point he has, his FROG BRIGADE jumping in the deep end of PINK FLOYD’s “ANIMALS” record.

Why would anyone perform and entire PINK FLOYD record for use as a live album?

We already answered that, Les wanted to.

Beyond that there is no rhyme or reason to any of this, or at least none that I can surmise.

So was it worth doing?

Yeah, if you are already a fan of the “ANIMALS” album and would like to have heard it sung by Les Claypool otherwise there isn’t a significant note of difference here from the original or any of the versions PINK FLOYD did themselves.

Great musicians playing great music that they love is always enjoyable so this is a winner by that standard albeit weirder than weird but hey, that’s Les.
