Victimized (Primal Desire) (2:48) 6. Karate chop (4:30) Scarred For Life is a well produced album with a hard, thrashy sound with roarin vocals. It's punky, skatey, speed metal riffs throughout would make this a great band to see live. Chaos Theory are a band at their best at the gravel-throated slam dancin, moshy end of the scale, but vocals on songs like 'I Abandon' hint that the band sometimes has to work too hard at sounding angry. The second half of the album is definately the better with 'Kill The System' bringing it up to punky pogo mode, just inntime to deliver the finbal tracks which are far and away the best. 'Victimized' is a hard, banging, thrash-fest, high on rage with convincing vocals and some nice changes in tempo. The most immediately catchy track 'Karate Chop' sounds like a Lawnmower Death track to start with. Lyrics such as i'm the world's greatset black-belt and I'll kick your ass anyday" give the track more of a humorous edge than it's counterparts. Thisd is my first encounter with Choas Theory and I'd say if your into slammin, loud energetic Metal then give it a few listens.
