Spirit House
CELESTIAL

A very peculiar mix of Far East tradition and new age aesthetics, Celestial have a sound that is a little too similar to Enigma (check out "Cang Ding," and "I Feel Strange").

It does have a more "world music" feel, though most of the time is sounds like the soundtrack to a lost Emmanuelle movie (the classy Sylvia Kristel ones, not the low-budget Italian-made ones with Laura Gemser.

Each set of films do have their strong points, but I digress). There isn't much to say. This is not usually my scene, but I liked the disc, I don't own anything like it, and it was cool to listen to, though it does have "soft-core porn" and "Cinemax at 3 A.M." written all over it. That on the other hand, is very much my scene…
