Shades Of Grey "Punks Not Dead" shouted The Exploited way back in the early 80's and everybody laughed, well the shoe (or should that be the steel toe cap) is now well and truly on the other foot with bands such as Rancid carrying on where the Clash left off. Don't believe me, well check out the brilliant compilation "Check This Out" Check this out too for further proof, Kill The Brave sees Caffeine enter a very fast growing market place with this 3-track EP which features 2 songs from their forthcoming album 'What The Hell Am I Gonna Do When She Comes' 'Kill The Brave' and 'Hands Down' are slices of pure punk the way it should be played, while the third track 'Shades Of Grey' has a more hard edged US new wave feel about it. Which goes to show Caffeine have the ability in their songwriting department to succeed in this wonderful world of music. Can't wait for the album!!
