The opening track 'I Am Alive' starts with a piano intro, keyboards are then introduced, followed by the beautiful voice of Dana. The vocals are soft, but carry so much feeling. But this track is full of emotion anyway.

The next track is 'Circle', another piano intro, before Dana vocals begin. On this track Dana shows that she has quite a wide vocals range and that she has a lot of power in her voice too. There's a lot of emotion in this track too and Rick's guitar playing has a slight Brian May (Queen) feeling to it.

Track three is 'The Sound Of Breathing', piano intro, while Dana sings the melody that is playing behind reminds me of a Pink Floyd track 'The Trial' from 'The Wall'.

Next is 'First Stone', an excellent track that starts with an acoustic guitar. Dana shows on this track that she has a very powerful voice and that her vocals have a very wide range. The middle section of this track has a little Spanish guitar followed by acoustic guitar and keyboards which weave around building to a climax. Dana then comes back in with her excellent vocals.

Next is 'Rainbow Bridge', which is a love song. It is a nice mellow track with acoustic guitar and keyboards.

Track six is 'Goof', starts with an acoustic guitar intro. Dana vocals start softly and Rick comes in with some excellent guitar work. There's also a superb guitar solo.

The next track is 'Walter's Bird', is a nice track and probably the most commercial sounding track on the album.

'Love', is an excellent track, Dana's voice is once again superb showing how versatile her voice is. Rick's guitar playing is superb and again on this track he sounds very much like Brian May. There's also a stunning guitar solo from Rick The next track is 'Awakening', a track in which Dana uses her vocals to the full. A track that shows Dana creating rich textured melodies using her voice only. This track has only one instrument and that is Dana's voice. But it is a track that is full of emotion and one that takes several listens to appreciate.

The last track is 'Anthem', this shows Rick playing some great guitar and keyboards, pity the track is only 1:15 mins. I would have liked it to have been at least 3 mins or more.

Overall, a superb album. It's an album that takes a few listens to fully appreciate. The quality and production of this CD is excellent. This comes highly recommended.
