Balance of Power is a band with a lot of powerful melodic hooks, catchy choruses and very good instrumental passages with two excellent guitar players named Pete Southern and Bill Yates. Lance King has a very clear and strong voice.

"Perfect Balance" is the band's fourth album. Their music is influenced by 80's heavy metal and could be described as a melodic mix between Yngwie Malmsteen, Queensryche and Threshold.

There are three different releases of the album. The US version has a fantastic CD-ROM section for your computer with live video footage taken from their German tour, along with many other goodies; the Japanese version has two bonus tracks.

The European release has the most beautiful artwork but the US-version is perhaps the most interesting of them.
