XIII Voltumlunae

ASGAARD

This album can really only be described as one for the true fan of European metal.

It has a strange mixture mixture of floaty keyboard sounds twinned with heavy double bass drumming with two sets of vocals, a womans melodic style ans a all too familier growling mans vocals.

But even with the mix of all these elements, the album as a whole is actually quite listenable, if you are in the mood to listen to something a bit more softer and melodic from other European groups who may offer a different type of music.

Track 3 is really the showpiece of the album, where the guitars, drums, vocals and synths really work well together sonically for an altogether tight sound, almost radio friendly track.

If on listening to this album, you fekt you needed more, then look no further than track 4, it will not dissapoint. Saprano is now introduced along with no fewer than 3 styles of vocals rolled into the track.

Track 5 also introduces a range of tones created on both violins and xylophones, which makes the album feel more at home as a dramatic film score rather than a run of the mill European rock album.
