Hallucination

Apartment 26

The sound is like a five-in-one utility tool put to samplers, sequences and shredding.

Apartment 26, knock on the door then stand back, the sound is quite stunning!

"Backwards" does just that as you're flung off your feet in a mad rush of loud guitars, sonic screams and a rich chorus to a song that slides slightly towards the melodic, inducing NIN images put to the aggressiveness of Fear Factory with the dazzling dimensions of Prodigy!

"Hallucination" follows on the heels of their debut appearance on last year's Ozzfest and much of the broad range of sounds that take place here culminate from the diverse assembly of artists that make their annual stadium jaunt.

"Doing it Anyway" tears a page right out of the book of Prong, with tight fisted rhythms interspersed with synthesized syncopation that floats in and out of the listening space.

"Hallucination" has the makeup to take modern music to another level simply because its creators acknowledge their wide array of influences and aren't afraid to make some adjustments and technical tweaking now and again to breed their own unique designs.

"Keep You" is a vivid example where the song moves quickly through a flood of ambient textures all the while keeping a steady rock beat that shoots directly into the heart of the song without sacrificing its external appeal.

"Basic Breakdown" and "Anymore" bring modernity to traditional metal riffing-and get ready to clear some space to let the elbows fly for these two!

Make no mistake however, Apartment 26 is not reinventing rock and roll they're just tinkering with it enough to present already prevailing influences so as each song remains an identity true to itself while keeping the listener always on their toes!

Welcome additions to the mosh-pit or an all night rave, Apartment 26 is the future and the future is now. don't be surprised if upon entry you're immediately consumed by a haunting charm that like the latest wonderdrug, momentarily intoxicates your soul and feeds your starving addiction!
